Festival of Sails at Suttons Beach, Redcliffe
Date: Good Friday, 3 April 2015

A one day event run by the Moreton Bay Regional Council, this colourful, seaside carnival runs in conjunction with the annual Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race. It offers more than one hundred specialty market and gourmet food stalls dotted along Suttons Beach, live music & roving entertainers plus heaps of workshops and amusement rides for the kids.

Time: 9.00 am - 4.00 pm

Location: Suttons Beach - Marine Parade, Redcliffe

Cost: Free entry with many workshops & activities free

There is a cost for rides.

  • Scarborough Lights and Christmas by the Sea
    Date: 6 December 2014, and all December and much of January

    Enjoy Christmas street lights and window displays throughout the Scarborough Seaside Village, and the Christmas by the Sea carols and street parade.

    CHRISTMAS TREE & LIGHTS DISPLAY:
    Scarborough Lights is provides decorated and lit-up 3-metre tall Christmas Trees placed along Scarborough streets throughout December each year. It also encourages window displays with all buinsesses int eh Scarborough Seaside Village precinct.

    CHRISTMAS BY THE SEA: 
    This annual Event is organised in partnership with the Moreton Bay Regional Council and Scarborough Lights. It's held on the first Saturday in December from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. There is a street parade, a market festival with dozens of stalls, free entertainment and Christmas carols, culminating in fireworks at 8:00 pm.

  • Australia Day Festivities
    Date: 26 January 2015

    Celebrate Australia Day in Redcliffe. Come and enjoy a great range of activities at Suttons Beach and the Redcliffe Seaside.

    Kids will be entertained for hours with activities happening throughout the day including beach & water games/activities, free art and craft workshops, enter the ice cream eating competition Or check out the mud crab races. Parents can sit back and enjoy the roving entertainment, the local Butchers Cook Off and the music from the DJ, and then wander up to the Redcliffe Seaside Village for meal, coffee and/or a wine to wind down.

  • Redcliffe Festival, Redcliffe Peninsula
    Location: Foreshore and Charlish Park, Redcliffe Seaside Village Precinct, and Pelican Park, Clontarf
    Date: 4, 5 & 6 of September 2015

     

    The 2015 Redcliffe Festival hits the Peninsula in September.

    This year it will incorporate Redcliffe KiteFest and create a magical three-day festival across the peninsula. Come along and enjoy a weekend of action packed entertainment.

     

    There will be a concert on Friday night, with many local acts as well as a number of feature 'headline' acts.


    A 'meet and greet’ on Saturday at Scarborough with the Offshore Superboat Championship drivers will provide the chance to see their awesome machines up close, as they practice for the following day’s races.


    Kites will be in full flight from Saturday morning, all weekend, at Clontarf's Pelican Park.

     

    The Sunset Fiesta at Redcliffe will feature on Saturday from 4:00p to 8:00pm.


    Sunday will see Redcliffe Parade abuzz both on and off the water, with a wide range of entertainment in a street fiesta including two jam-packed stages, with exciting visual acts, comedy, music and bands throughout the day, as well as the Super Boat Races and Revin' Up Redcliffe, a display of hundreds of old timer cars by a number of car clubs from around SE Queensland.

     

    There’ll be a variety of markets, kids’ activities and amusements, plus a Seaside Kitchen complete with cooking demonstrations from renowned local chefs. The celebrations along Redcliffe Parade will also feature the re-enactment of Queensland's first European landing on the foreshore, in its 189th anniversary.

     

    Time: 5.30 pm – 10.00 pm Friday 5 September, 9:00 am to 10:00 pm Saturday 6 September, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Sunday 7 September

    Cost: KiteFest: $8/adults, Children & Concession $5, Family pass $20 (2A 2C), Children under 2 Free

    Spring Break Beach Party: $23 + booking fee online, $30 at the gate

    KiteFest LIVE: $38 + booking fee, $45 at the gate

    Redcliffe Remembers, Jetty Fiesta: Free. All day ride pass $25, many workshops and activities free
